Risk Disclosure Statement Effective Date: June 29, 2026
1. High Risk of Futures Trading Trading futures contracts, including but not limited to Micro Nasdaq-100 (MNQ), Micro E-mini S&P 500 (MES), and Gold (MGC/GC), is inherently risky and is not suitable for all investors. The high degree of leverage available in futures trading can work against you as well as for you. A relatively small market movement can have a proportionately larger impact on the funds you have deposited or will have to deposit; this may work against you as well as for you. You could sustain a total loss of initial margin funds and any additional funds deposited with your broker to maintain your position. You must fully understand the risks involved and only trade with true risk capital—money that, if completely lost, will not impact your livelihood or financial well-being.
2. Automated and Algorithmic Trading Risks Sector Zero Capital provides educational systems, logic, and automated strategy templates (such as Opening Range Breakout bots). Utilizing automated trading software involves a unique set of severe risks, including but not limited to:
-
System Failure: Hardware crashes, internet connectivity drops, or power outages can leave you exposed to the market without the ability to manage your positions.
-
Software Malfunction: Bugs in C# code, NinjaScript compilation errors, or failures in trailing stop and dynamic position sizing logic can result in erratic trading behavior and massive financial loss.
-
Platform Latency: Data feed delays or execution lag within third-party platforms can cause extreme slippage, meaning orders may be filled at prices significantly worse than anticipated.
You alone are responsible for monitoring your automated systems and stepping in manually when technical failures occur.
3. Proprietary Evaluation and Funded Accounts Sector Zero Capital makes absolutely no guarantees that utilizing our systems or educational material will result in passing proprietary trading firm evaluations or securing funded accounts. Funding companies operate under strict rules (e.g., trailing drawdowns, consistency rules, and trading window limits). Our systems are not customized to circumvent the specific risk parameters of any third-party firm. If you blow an evaluation account or lose a funded account while using our systems, Sector Zero Capital holds zero liability.
4. Hypothetical Performance Disclaimer (CFTC Rule 4.41) The following is a mandatory regulatory disclosure for the futures industry: HYPOTHETICAL PERFORMANCE RESULTS HAVE MANY INHERENT LIMITATIONS, SOME OF WHICH ARE DESCRIBED BELOW. NO REPRESENTATION IS BEING MADE THAT ANY ACCOUNT WILL OR IS LIKELY TO ACHIEVE PROFITS OR LOSSES SIMILAR TO THOSE SHOWN. IN FACT, THERE ARE FREQUENTLY SHARP DIFFERENCES BETWEEN HYPOTHETICAL PERFORMANCE RESULTS AND THE ACTUAL RESULTS SUBSEQUENTLY ACHIEVED BY ANY PARTICULAR TRADING PROGRAM.
ONE OF THE LIMITATIONS OF HYPOTHETICAL PERFORMANCE RESULTS IS THAT THEY ARE GENERALLY PREPARED WITH THE BENEFIT OF HINDSIGHT. IN ADDITION, HYPOTHETICAL TRADING DOES NOT INVOLVE FINANCIAL RISK, AND NO HYPOTHETICAL TRADING RECORD CAN COMPLETELY ACCOUNT FOR THE IMPACT OF FINANCIAL RISK IN ACTUAL TRADING. FOR EXAMPLE, THE ABILITY TO WITHSTAND LOSSES OR TO ADHERE TO A PARTICULAR TRADING PROGRAM IN SPITE OF TRADING LOSSES ARE MATERIAL POINTS WHICH CAN ALSO ADVERSELY AFFECT ACTUAL TRADING RESULTS. THERE ARE NUMEROUS OTHER FACTORS RELATED TO THE MARKETS IN GENERAL OR TO THE IMPLEMENTATION OF ANY SPECIFIC TRADING PROGRAM WHICH CANNOT BE FULLY ACCOUNTED FOR IN THE PREPARATION OF HYPOTHETICAL PERFORMANCE RESULTS AND ALL OF WHICH CAN ADVERSELY AFFECT ACTUAL TRADING RESULTS.
5. No Financial Advice Sector Zero Capital is an educational entity. We are not registered financial advisors. Nothing published by Sector Zero Capital, whether via website, video, merchandise, or community channels, should be considered personalized financial advice. You execute trades at your own total risk.
6. Governing Law and Jurisdiction Sector Zero Capital operates under the legal jurisdiction of New Zealand. By accessing, purchasing, or utilizing any of our systems, educational materials, or software, you explicitly agree that these terms and any disputes arising from your use of our products shall be governed exclusively by the laws of New Zealand. Any legal action or proceeding must be brought solely in the appropriate courts located in New Zealand, and you consent to this exclusive jurisdiction.
